How to remove Visual Studio 2019 Extension — Oracle Data Access 2019

Well, probably you realized that Oracle Data Access 2019 components do not provide design time features and you wish to remove this extension before you could install another.

Its not a good idea to keep multiple versions of Oracle Data Access Components on your box.

Here is how you can remove the existing extension.

Go to the Installed Extensions in Visual Studio 2019 from the menu — Extensions > Manage Extensions and see if you could find the one already installed.

In above case, you can see ODT version 19.3 installed.
Hit the Uninstall button to remove it from your box.
Next Close all Visual Studio windows to begin the uninstall.
