Setup Hyper-V on Windows-10 Pro

Creating virtual boxes on Windows

Recently I set up an Ubuntu virtual box on my licensed Windows-10 pro PC.
Steps are described below —

  1. Enabled Intel VMX Virtualization Technology in BIOS setup on my
    ASUS Maximum XII Hero motherboard

2. Turned on Hyper-V as Windows Features

3. Verified all Windows Hyper-V requirements met using systeminfo.exe command from command-window

4. Launched Hyper-V manager on windows

After Hyper-V and virtual Ubuntu set-up

5. Created a Virtual switch —

6. Installed Ubuntu via Quick Create

So Virtualization is now a native capability on Windows.
